Intelligent Systems to Stabilize electrical grids

The SINTER consortium presents its project, Intelligent Systems to Stabilize electrical grids. Its main aim is the integration of renewable energies (wind, photovoltaic and hydraulic), including storage (hydrogen, supercapacitors, batteries, pumped-storage, etc.), with electrical grid stabilization functions.

 

The project activity extends from 22 April 2009 until 31 December 2011 (financed, in the framework of Plan E, by the Ministry of Science and Innovation until April 2010). The cost of this initiative is 4.3 million euros, of which 67% (2.89 M €) has been provided by the Ministry of Science and Innovation through Plan E.

 

The SINTER consortium is formed by ADES, INYCOM, CIRCE foundation, Aragon hydrogen foundation, National Center of Hydrogen and CIEMAT/CEDER.
