KICK-OFF MEETING OF THE EUROPEAN PROJECT MEGAROB

On 19 and 20 November it has been held in Zaragoza the kick-off meeting of the MEGAROB Project, which is financed by seventh Framework Program of the E.U.

The meeting was held with the participation of ADES and the rest of the project partners, which are entities of four different European countries.

MEGAROB project, which will last 3 years, is led by AITIIP Foundation and aims at developing a platform for high accuracy manufacturing operations in large components using spherical robot and laser tracker on overhead crane.

ADES role in the project is as end-user, providing a blade of its commercial wind turbines, to be used as a model in a real scale demonstrator.

ADES was represented in the meeting by its CEO, Honorato López Torres.
